These Terms of Service govern your use of ascentsciences.com and any purchase from Ascent Sciences. By using the website or submitting an order, you agree to these Terms and to our Research Use Agreement.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years of age to use this website or purchase from Ascent Sciences.
2. Research use only
All products are sold strictly for in-vitro laboratory research and analytical use, as set out in the Research Use Agreement. They are not for human or animal use of any kind.
3. Orders
Submitting an order is a request to purchase. An order is accepted only when we confirm it to you by email. We may decline or cancel any order, including for suspected misuse, pricing or listing errors, or product unavailability. Where payment is arranged after an order request, the order ships only once payment has been received.
4. Prices and availability
Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. Products are subject to availability. We make every effort to display product information accurately, but we do not warrant that descriptions or other content are error-free.
5. Shipping and returns
Shipping is described in our Shipping Policy, and returns and refunds in our Refund & Returns Policy. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the carrier.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
Products are supplied for research use “as is”. Except as expressly stated in a certificate of analysis for a specific lot, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Ascent Sciences disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ascent Sciences is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Ascent Sciences harmless from any claims, losses or expenses arising from your use or misuse of the products or this website, or from your breach of these Terms.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, graphics and logos, belongs to Ascent Sciences or its licensors and may not be copied without permission.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. The version posted on this page applies to orders submitted after it is posted.
